Rev. Erin Racine
Executive Pastor of Discipleship and Congregational Care
My name is Erin Racine, I look forward to hearing the stories of your lives and your faith as we share in God’s Great Love Story together. My own story begins in Michigan, where I grew up. Both of my parents are United Methodist pastors (now retired), so church was an integral part of our lives. Through Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, youth group, and church camp, my faith grew deeper and I eventually began to hear the whispers of a call to ministry. I attended North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where I studied English-Writing and Religious Studies and was involved in our United Methodist campus ministry. I have a Master of Divinity Degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School. I have previously served at Brentwood UMC, West End UMC, and the hybrid in-person/online church The Vine UMC. The primary focus of my ministry in these appointments has been in the areas of Congregational Care, Hospitality, and Discipleship, though I have also enjoyed planning and leading worship and preaching.
