The Calvary Foundation
The Calvary Foundation is a set of investment funds that are endowed for specific purposes and are designated to start, grow, or sustain ministry and mission work within our congregation and community. Below you will find ways to give and details about what each fund is about. Many of the funds have some form of restriction on how much and for what purpose the funds can be disbursed. This is managed by our Foundation Committee, which is a mix of church members, church leaders, and staff.
Trustees Funds
Building Maintenance Fund: provides for building improvements, major maintenance & church furnishings.
Milton & Sara Rice Capital Improvement Fund: to be used for capital projects, improvements, and maintenance of facilities.
Program and Ministry Funds
All Saints Memorial Fund: Formerly known simply as "the Memorial Fund," gifts to this fund are used for a wide range of programs. It can be used to supplement other funds or for emerging ministries, facilities, and staffing needs. Undesignated gifts will help grow this versatile fund.
Vision Fund: Gifts to this fund support emerging ministry programs, missions & projects of Calvary.
Sports Trust Fund: Gifts to this fund support sports programs at Calvary.
Tom Metcalfe Organ Fund: provides for the maintenance and improvement of the church’s organ. Gifts to this fund honor Calvary's 60+ year tenured organist.
Ed Johnson Carillon Fund: Gifts to this fund help maintain the Carillon, which plays beautiful music at the top of the hour for Green Hills.
David van Eys and Charlie Monk Estonia Fund: Gifts to this fund support ministry and mission with church partners in Estonia. The fund is named in honor of members who loved and served well in this ministry.
Elba Ann Cole Kitchen Fund: Gifts to this fund are designated for the upkeep and repair of Calvary's kitchens. The fund is named in honor of Calvary's long-time servant and administrator.
Benevolence Funds
Clark Trust Fund: Gifts to this fund help replenish our Pastor’s Fund.
Harriet Evans Keyes Fund: Gifts to this fund help replenish our Pastor’s Fund.
Scholarship Funds
Jeff Johnson Scholarship Fund: Gifts to this fund provide scholarship assistance to Calvary members attending colleges and universities.
Anne Parker CYCS Scholarship Fund: to benefit teachers in Calvary's Young Children’s School (YCS) to complete their education. This fund is named in honor of a beloved YCS teacher and school administrator.
