“The early Christians observed with great devotion the days of our Lord’s passion and resurrection, and it became the custom of the Church that before the Easter celebration, there should be a forty-day season of spiritual preparation. … In this way the whole congregation was reminded of the mercy and forgiveness proclaimed in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the need we all have to renew our faith.” (The United Methodist Book of Worship)

CalvaryConnection is a non-traditional worship service that incorporates the use of video, drama, and music led by a Praise Team of singers, guitar players, drums and keyboard. Our worship is informal--allowing for casual dress and interaction among the congregants—yet we strive to create an authentic worship experience. We also value ancient worship practices like The Lord’s Prayer and monthly Communion. CalvaryConnection is a worship experience that strives to connect people with God and with one another. Our aim is to create an atmosphere where all who worship will experience the presence of the Holy Spirit and will gain a deeper insight into God’s Word as it is shared in singing, in preaching, in drama and in visual ways.
